The '''Convict''' is the [[Shield|Shieldbot Factory]]'s constructor. It is equipped with a small shield, boosting its survivability and allowing for some useful protective tactics.
Besides its primary duty as a constructor, the Convict's shield has many uses in combat. From protecting your [[Bandit|Bandits]] in early raids, to building [[Lotus|Lotuses]] inside the range of enemy [[Picket|Pickets]], to recharging the shields of allied combat units, the utility of the Convict is exceptional. It's also a reasonably efficient constructor for its cost.
